While plastic tanks are more expensive, they are lightweight, feature superior manufacturing processes, can accommodate complex chassis designs, and offer enhanced corrosion resistance.

Fuel tank capacity varies across models, but most automakers adhere to a standard range of around 600 kilometers on a full tank, ensuring a minimum driving distance of 500 kilometers.
